OLYMPIC WINDFOILING

  • In November 2019 at the World Sailing Conference in Bermuna the WS council voted unanimously to replace the RSX Class with the iIQFoil Class as the chosen Olympic equipment for the 2024 and 2028 Olympics  As bold and exciting move Olympic windsurfing has now evolved to a class that is current is more widely used as a race and fun form of windsurfing.

  • The skills you acquire in racing foiling windsurfers; the time on distance, the speed, altitude control, the laylines, the strategy and tactics, the sensation of flight; they all directly translate to the new era of professional sailing. Windfoiling offers a pathway to other high performance and foiling classes that was not previously there.
